Information Technology Institute success story

In 2020, Information Technology Institute (ITI) in Egypt decided to integrate Red Hat Academy coursework into its undergraduate programs. Since then over 500 students have taken RHA courses, with half going on to achieve certification. Today they are employed in a range of open source fields at multinational companies, including system administration, DevOps and IoT development. Here is the story of the partnership.

Information Technology Institute (“ITI”) is a pioneering national institute with regional influence and international connections. Since its establishment in 1993, ITI has been devoted to providing a large pool of youth with world-class human capacity building programs in an empirical learning approach to profoundly scale up the impact of the aspiring Egyptian youth in the ICT workplace. ITI mission is to support Egyptian youth to improve their career opportunities by developing their skills and prepare them for the highly demanded job profiles.
